Theresa May takes a break from Brexit but she still can’t play the game
Watch: It turns out that negotitating Brexit is not the only thing the PM can't do.
Theresa May has risked fresh anger from Tory MPs (and many others) by hinting that she plans to stay on as prime minister beyond Brexit.
Delivering her latest piece of bad news for almost everyone, she told reporters on a trip to Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt that her job was "not only about delivering Brexit" and vowed to "get on with" her domestic agenda once Britain leaves the EU.
It came as the PM showed that as well as not knowing what to do when it comes Brexit negotiations, she also had no idea how to play a different game.
After ITV’s Robert Peston reported that a game of pool had taken place between May and the Italian prime minister Giuseppe Conte in Sharm el-Sheikh, the Italian premier released an embarrassing film of Number 10 chief of staff Gavin Barwell showing the PM how to hold the cue and aim at the ball.
