This blog is a good place to plug young, forward-thinking groups who are innovating in campaigns. Compass Youth are such a group and Tom Miller and Noel Hatch are doing some good things. Equipping campaign grassroots with the tools they need to gather where necessary, sharing skills and expertise or raising funds. The new campaigning will be based this way, not on monthly meetings.

There's a still a role for getting together though ie to drink, eat and have fun.

If you're at a loose end on Sunday (and in London) check out their event organised with European Alternatives at Cargo, London. Its a free festival of political and cultural debate, film and live music. Starts 1pm til midnight.
