Erich McElroy unveils new guests for his ‘Imperfect Guide to the US Presidential Debates’

Following his inauguration last year, American comedian Erich McElroy’s ‘Imperfect Guide to the US Presidential Debates’ has announced new dates and a new venue for 2016 – and an exclusive discount offer for TP readers.

The show, which we reviewed last year, is moving to the cabaret theatre in The Hippodrome on Leicester Square.

On 17 January, it features former Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik in possibly his last public appearance before he has his face rebuilt to make him look more like George Clooney. Or so he hopes.

Also on board are comics David Mills, Grainne Maguire and Robyn Perkins and more.

On 28 January guests include Josie Long, Ola, Robyn Perkins and more.

More details are here. Given that both shows don’t get going until after 1130pm, they may not be ideal for anyone planning to be awake at work the following morning.

But those TP readers who love US politics and don’t love going to work the next day can get 50% off a general ticket or a student ticket by using the code ’totalpolitics’.
