Brian Paddick has signed up for the latest I'm a Celebrity Get Me of Here. So, if you really want you can watch his antics on ITV from this weekend. Mr Paddick did suffer somewhat from a charisma bypass when he stood as the Lib Dem candidate in this year's London Mayoral election so is hoping I'm a Celebrity... will show a rather different side to him. Do you think we'll find him providing leadership in the jungle for tasks such as eating kangaroo genitalia?

However, let's not forget that while some politicians can do television, TV stars can also become politicians. Paddick will be joined by Robert Kilroy-Silk in the jungle. Before becoming an MEP, he was the host of his daytime tv show until he was sacked following a controversial newspaper column. Some other examples:
