It would be lovely if your statistical breakdown could also mention that 3 of the top 20 blogs are libertarian. ;o)

If you offer websites the chance to withdraw and not participate, it is very questionable ethics to then reveal a nominal 'position' in the poll. I think the poll is a very good thing (and I think it would be better if LC took part) but this seems to me rather petty, and I also think that it risks undoing the good efforts made to deal with the concern that the Total Politics poll would be somewhat weighted to favouring right-wing sites.

(The sentence which does so makes no sense at all, but I think this is just poor grammar on the part of the author, and the meaning can just about be discerned).

I saw on the thread inviting votes that Liberal Conspiracy had withdrawn and so did not vote for it. I would have put it first or second on my list. Of course many sites encouraged votes for the poll, and I assume LC did the opposite.
