Ken Livingstone launched his bid to take back City Hall in 2012 this week.
The former mayor of London snuck out an announcement on 11th November (when everyone else was worrying about remembrance) that in January a new coalition, Progressive London, will hold its first conference "addressing the key issues to keep London at the cutting edge of the world today".
Progressive London's website explains "speakers representing all strands of London life" will be present "including from the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats and the Greens". In other words, all the groups Ken needs if he wants the mayorship back.
