Theresa May attended a press gallery lunch in Parliament today and was lighter on her feet than I was expecting. She told an amusing tale of returning home after becoming one of the most senior cabinet minister in the coalition government and finding a note on her doorstep. “Congratulations on becoming Home Secretary,” it read. “Will this alter your milk requirements?”
