I'm not a fan of student politics. More often than not it's an arena full of people who attach far more importance to it than it deserves. The kind of people who expect their 'perfect' world-view to implemented NOW and who champion free speech (until, that is, someone wishes to say something they disagree with).
But I digress. In my continuing mission to highlight great examples of political communication, I bring you a video that's leagues better than most of the web campaign videos I've seen produced by professional politicians:
The lesson here: humour done well makes for a brilliant campaign video.
And one final word - when I looked at this video the number of viewers was only about 850. Not many, you might be thinking. But consider this: how many professional politicians would jump at the chance to speak in front of an audience of that size? A lot.
