Will the real Stephen Barclay please stand up?

Meet Stephen Barclay.

He's the Brexit Secretary, and a man noted for his loyalty to the Prime Minister.

Here he is at the Despatch Box, loyally telling MPs to back the PM's motion to delay Brexit past 29 March.

But there is another Stephen Barclay.

He's the one who, barely an hour after uttering the words above, went ahead and voted against his own government.

He won't lose his job, of course. It was a free vote, and seven of his Cabinet colleagues also joined him in the No lobby.

But the question must surely be asked: Will the real Stephen Barclay please stand up?
